Company Mission:
Our mission is straightforward: To deliver simple and convenient airport transfer services at the right price across Europe.
What we aim to deliver:
A service that is simple, easy to access and most importantly responds to the needs of even the most demanding customer, all at the right price. We aim to do this by continually delivering a great service and building on our partnerships with the leading players in the marketplace on both a local and European level to ensure that the consumer receives the best possible service for a contained and highly competitive price.
History and product portfolio:
In the last few years Terravision has established itself as a leading provider for shuttle buses travelling between airports and their respective cities throughout Europe. The company came about in response to a gap in the market as the low-cost airlines started to boom.
Having started out with transfers from Rome Ciampino, Terravision has now expanded its reach into several different countries across Europe, with numerous services to major cities including London (Stansted and Luton airports), Milan (Bergamo airport), Florence (Pisa airport) and Vienna to name a few. The company is continually looking to provide new services and celebrated the launch of five new transfers in 2009 connecting Girona, Trapani, Malta, Turin and Perpignan airports to surrounding cities. The company is also proud of its launched services in Tenerife and Malaga which transport tourists directly to their hotels in 2010.
Although Terravision's core product remains the airport - city centre shuttle services, the company has diversified and also offers half-day or full-day tourism products like the half-day guided city tour in Rome. A significant addition to Terravision’s offering came in 2008 with the launch of its franchising business, giving European coach operators a way of collaborating with Terravision to open up new routes. Since its launch, Terravision has welcomed the addition of six new partnerships under the franchising arm and constantly looks to build on current and future relationships.
Later in 2008, Terravision launched its third Terracafè in London, following the successes of Florence and Rome before it, allowing customers to benefit from lounge and bar services, as well as buy tickets to wherever they are looking to go. Off the back of this success, Terracafe is set to launch its fourth venue later in 2010 in Manchester. This is just another demonstration of Terravision’s vision to diversify its offering by entering new markets and creating new business ventures, all designed to give ever improving customer service.
Committed to the future
The company has always been about giving its customers a great service at the right price. Since its inception, Terravision has transported millions of passengers over the years with great success. Looking to the future, Terravision remains focused on doing what it does best; getting passengers from A to B with a great service but crucially with low prices. That’s why we are always looking to improve our services to better meet the demands of customers, whether it be improving our booking systems, updating our timetables or even launching brand new services where they are needed.
