Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris is also known by the French as Roissy Airport, due to its location in the city of Roissy-en-France.
The airport has three main terminals which are interconnected by a free shuttle bus. Terminal 2 is made up of six different buildings (in alphabetical order from 2A to 2F). This is the terminal used for most European flights. Terminal 1 is used for International flights and terminal 3 (previously known as T9) is mainly used for charter flights and low cost airlines.
Charles De Gaulle airport is situated 23 kilometres outside of Paris.
