Faro Airport

Faro airport, also known as the Algarve airport, is located 5 km from the city centre of Faro which is the capital of the “Algarve district” (south coast of Portugal). The airport has an air strip which is located only 8 meters above sea level. Faro airport is the second busiest airport in Portugal (after Lisbon) and the sixth of all the Iberian peninsula. It’s open to commercial air traffic and offers several useful amenities such as: cash machine, info point, post office, luggage service, shops (including a supermarket), restaurants and a duty free area. The airport offers free WIFI.
