About The Crumlin Road Gaol:
Crumlin Road Gaol, is a prison on Crumlin Road in Belfast. It is the only Victorian era prison remaining in Northern Ireland and has been closed since 1996. The Crumlin Road Courthouse, currently abandoned, is located in front of the Gaol. A tunnel under the main road connects the two buildings and in the past was used to transport prisoners to the courthouse.
